Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed that Fiorentina suspect rumoured Tottenham target Dusan Vlahovic already has an agreement in place with a club over a transfer.

Tottenham are expected to make a move for a striker in January (Fabrizio Romano) and Conte has reportedly asked the North London club to bring in Vlahovic.

Di Marzio has now provided a comprehensive breakdown of the Serbian’s situation to TuttoMercatoWeb.

He reveals that Fiorentina would like to cash in on the 21-year-old when the transfer market reopens in January.

This is because the Serie A club do not expect the striker to renew his contract and would like to get as much value for him in the market as possible.

The journalist claimed that the ever-increasing demands of Vlahvoic’s entourage have left the Viola ‘irritated’ and has closed any talks regarding a new deal.

While Vlahvoic is said to be on Juventus’ radar, it is asserted that the Old Lady are unlikely to be in a position to afford the striker in January given Fiorentina’s €80m (£68.1m) asking price.

Di Marzio also adds that the striker has rejected Arsenal’s advances despite the Gunners being ready to meet the Serie A club’s price.

It is explained that this has got Fiorentina to suspect that Vlahovic already has an agreement with ‘another team’ over a summer transfer.

Tottenham are named as one of the potential destinations for Vlahovic in the summer along with Manchester City and Atletico Madrid.

It would certainly be interesting to see how the Vlahovic saga develops over the next few weeks and if a January move is on the cards for the striker. The Conte factor certainly gives Tottenham a chance of winning the race for his signature.
