Liverpool suffer another injury scare during international break

Liverpool’s international injury bug struck again on Tuesday night when Divock Origi limped off for Belgium.

Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson had already picked up injuries while away with their national side this week.

And the sight of Origi being substituted for Belgium against Wales is a cause for concern.

With 30 minutes left to go in the game, he was replaced by Dante Vanzeir.

The extent of the injury is not yet known but with Roberto Firmino already out injured, Jurgen Klopp won’t want any more players on the treatment table.

Curtis Jones has also been ruled out for several weeks alongside James Milner while timescales on Naby Keita and Joe Gomez remain uncertain.

Harvey Elliott is continuing his comeback from the serious injury he suffered against Leeds United in September.
