Arsenal and Tottenham are both in the race to sign AFC Fiorentina attacker Dusan Vlahovic. Yet the Gunners have just suffered a huge blow in their attempt to land the Serbian striker.

According to Sky Sports Italia, Vlahovic’s agent won’t even pick up the phone for Arsenal. Who are eager to talk with the player’s representative to work out a deal for the striker.

As reported by CalcioMercato, Fiorentina expect the forward to leave the club. With the Serie A side looking for €60m (£51m) for the Vlahovic, who Tottenham have been keen on signing since the summer transfer window.

Yet this update from Italy comes as a huge blow for Arsenal, with Mikel Arteta eager to sign a striker for next season. Moreover, it is something that Tottenham supporters are relishing.
