Reports in the French media state that Diallo was driving the vehicle that Hamraoui was a passenger in last Thursday, when masked attackers hit Hamraoui multiple times with an “iron bar” in an ambush.
Diallo has played for PSG since 2016 and spent the latter half of last season on loan with Spanish side Atletico Madrid, after a loan spell with American NWSL club Utah Royals in 2020.
Former Lyon star Hamraoui signed for the Paris-based club from European champions Barcelona this summer on a two-year contract, returning to the club where she previously spent four seasons between 2012 and 2016.
PSG ended Lyon’s 14-season dominance of the French title last season, breaking a run that stretched back to 2006/7.
