Barcelona fans send demand to Xavi after spectacular collapse vs Celta
FC Barcelona’s supporters have flooded to social media on Saturday evening, to send a message to incoming boss Xavi Hernandez.
Barca blow it
The Blaugrana were of course back in action a short time ago.
After a 1-1 stalemate with Alaves last weekend made it three league outings without a win, Barca made the trip to the Estadio de Balaidos, aiming to return to winning ways in a meeting with Celta Vigo.
And, with just over half an hour on the clock on Saturday, this is precisely what the visitors appeared to be headed towards.
An explosive opening to proceedings saw Sergi Barjuan’s men surge into a 3-goal advantage early on, courtesy of strikes from all of Ansu Fati, Sergio Busquets and Memphis Depay:

A twist, however, remained in the tale.
After Iago Aspas and Nolito pulled a pair of goals back for Celta over the course of the 2nd-half, the hosts secured a share of the spoils in the most spectacular fashion, with essentially the last kick of the game.
As the ball dropped to the edge of the area, that man Aspas was on hand to bend a sumptuous finish beyond Marc-Andre ter Stegen and in at the back post, sparking wild celebrations around the Balaidos.
‘First thing’
Barcelona’s woes, however, did not end with simply the final scoreline this evening…
This comes with Barjuan and co. having also been forced to contend with yet another string of blows on the personnel front.
The subject of the treatment table at the Camp Nou has of course proven headline news to this point in the campaign, with almost all of the club’s key performers, at one point or another, having been forced onto the sidelines owing to a fitness problem of some form.
In turn, the Catalan faithful could scarcely believe their eyes when, this afternoon, not one, not two, but three of the club’s stars limped out of the action versus Celta.
First came Ansu Fati midway through the first-half, before Eric Garcia followed at the interval, and youngster Nico Gonzalez on the hour-mark.

And, as outlined above, on the back of their side’s latest triple blow, Barcelona’s supporters have since understandably been quick to send a crystal clear message to incoming manager Xavi Hernandez.
Droves of fans have taken to social media, to plead for a new medical team to be introduced in the Catalan capital as soon as possible, amid a season which is quickly threatening to fall apart before the returning Blaugrana icon is even afforded the opportunity to weave his magic on the Camp Nou touchline…
11 injured! 11!!!!! At this point Xavi has to fire the whole medical staff, first thing!

I hope Xavi is bringing a new medical team with him as the injury situation at Barça is disgraceful.

Xavi needs to get rid of this medical team man, it’s not worth seeing these players getting injured at a daily basis…

The first thing Xavi should do is change the whole medical team DAY ONE!

We literally have the worst medical team in football rn. Bare in mind he had the best one until Barto destroyed that shit. Xavi I beg you fix this

If Xavi wants to succeed in that team, 1st thing he should do is to change the whole medical team. They are not fit to take care of these players

The first thing Xavi should do is sack our medical team
Rumours are there but need to do that as soon as possible. pic.twitter.com/qmC0Vt5R3t
